God came to us five years ago, declaring “My servants, I have a greater task for you”. “The LORD said to me, “l have a greater task for you, my servant. Not only will you restore to greatness the people of Israel who have survived, but I will also make you a light to the nations — so that all the world may be saved.”” Isaiah 49:6 GNBUK. And we immediately came into an expanded labour by the guiding of His
hands. And ever since that MLR 2019, the Lord has come again and again to speak to us giving us perspectives into what He is doing now. He brought us to ‘Rehoboth’ and has given us room to be fruitful in the land. He made us understand that this is a season of divine visitation and it is for something global. By the last MLR, the promise, “Hereafter, you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man, ” further equipped us to pursue this season of our ‘Rehoboth’ with vigour and faith.
In the past months, God has turned our attention to the parables of the kingdom, particularly giving us perspectives on the processes and procedures of the growth of the kingdom and by this, we have come to locate and understand more and more the season which we are in and what we must do to maximize our day of opportunity or what we have known as ‘this our day of visitation’. By the grace and mercy of God, we have been going and growing through the processes and procedures, and it is clear to us that we have now, so to say, arrived at this season when the harvest has come upon us. The open heavens being released to us is not cosmetic, it is for an ingathering. It is for the harvest and revival of His body on the earth. This has not been by our power or our personal holiness or even hard work or any other means “but by My Spirit,” says the Lord. And now the word of the Lord has come very sharply to us:
“And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come. ‘”‘ Mark 4:26-29 NKJV
“He who gathers in summer is a wise son; He who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.” Proverbs 10:5 NKJV
“Know the importance of the season you’re in and a wise son you will be. But what a waste when an incompetent son sleeps through his day of opportunity!” Proverbs 10:5 TPT
We have been confronted several times with the reality of the season that God has brought us into by His determinate counsel. It is our day of visitation. There is ‘a going’ already ‘on the mulberry trees.’ And there is a word of immediate action coming to us: Put in the sickle for the harvest has come.
Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down; For the winepress is full, The vats overflow— For their wickedness is great.” Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. “Joel 3:13-14 NKJV
God who is faithfully watching His prophetic word to bring it to pass is gathering us together this year again to show us how to engage His sickles in our hands, for the harvest that has come. We cannot say, “Yet, in four months…” As we lift up our eyes, the harvest has come upon us. The field is ripe for harvest, almost unto wasting. Though the labourers are ever so few, He has arisen to send us forth again into His harvest and as He instructed others in times past, saying, “Open the windows, take the bow and arrows and shoot,” we have heard Him say, “Put in the sickle for the harvest has come.” Faith has risen in our hearts and we cannot hold back. As you come together with us, we shall lift up our hearts to Him to place the sickle for the harvest in our hands and release us into the harvest that has now come. The ongoing open heaven shall keep you fresh and refreshed for the harvest in Jesus’ name.
